Dr. Emilia has more than 25 years of experience as a Communications / PR Officer. Having worked for national and foreign institutions, the private sector, as well as NGOs. She received certification by AMEC in 2022.

Her role as a professional trainer was recognized by the BNSP, and she became certified in 2023.

She spent over 10 years of her career on climate change communications. Acquiring a certified climate leader status by the graces of The Climate Reality Project in 2016.

In late 2023, Dr. Emilia attained the position of Director of Communications in PT Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP), an industrial park hosting primarily nickel-related industries in Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.
